Glenella Guesthouse is a perfect setting for ladies interested in quilting and patchwork. The property was built in 1905 and the heritage-listed property is the only one of its kind in the area, impressing visitors from far and wide with its picturesque setting and fine dining. Also, Glenella's neighbour is the iconic patchwork & fabric shop Ribbons & Rainbows.

The resident teacher, Anne Sommerlad is a Blue Mountains quilt designer and teacher. Her work has been featured in several patchwork and quilting magazines and she teaches in the Blue Mountains and Sydney areas.

Anne offers a large range of pre-designed quilts featuring techniques including applique (needle turn or template), machine piecing and foundation piecing, or hand-piecing.

Glenella offers dinner and accomodation deals and has rooms with twin-share beds for friends travelling together. Glenella is happy to offer you exclusivity to the restaurant and lounge area for large groups any mid-week reservation and can fully cater to your requirements; be it with lunches, afternoon teas or use of other facilities you might require.
